To serve as pastor in this campus ministry is a distinct joy and privilege. I am honored to be able to share the Word and sacraments. Teaching Bible study is a growing experience both for me and for those involved in the studies. Our family here at Peace is a treasured blessing.
University students are at a crucial time in life; making decisions that may well affect the remainder of their days. Peace was established by the North Wisconsin District of the LCMS to offer ministry to students right at this particular juncture. As a student assembly, we are a ministry directed by and offered for the nourishment and care of the university community, students in particular.
Our menu is varied, but heading the list are worship and Bible study. Our leadership team does a great job of planning activities for fellowship and encouragement. Our missions personnel strive to offer servant events, local serving opportunities, and two longer distance missions trips each year. Our building is available for study and recreation, as well as a gathering place to get away.
Our mission is to reach the university community with the Good News of Jesus Christ. In this Lord and Savior, we come to know eternal life and the peace and joy that comes alongside.
I want to welcome you to this exciting and growing ministry; and, I do look forward to the opportunity to meet you.
